A couple of snowstorms ago, my windshield wipers were stuck to the glass with ice. I wasn’t very careful about getting them unstuck, and ended up tearing one of them. I had been driving like that for a while now, but finally replaced them yesterday.
It was the passenger side.
As I was shopping for replacement blades, I had a decision to make: should I get standard wipers, premium wipers, or hybrid wipers. Apparently, standard are more flexible and hug the windshield better, premium scrape water away better and last longer, and hybrid sort of do both. I decided on hybrid.
I don’t know why this picture is square. I think I accidentally changed a setting on my phone’s camera.
The last time I replaced them was three years ago. That’s pretty good.
That broken wiper looks like licorice. I wonder how licorice would do cleaning your windshield? You’d probably need a hybrid…
I don’t think I’ve ever replace the ones on my car and I’ve had it for 10 years now.?.?.?.? But, then I can’t remember what I had for lunch today (^_^) <3 Aunt Bev 🙂
I replace mine much more often than that. Or maybe I’ve done it so often now that it just seems like I’m always replacing them.
