Paschal Pictures

I had a very Eastery Easter yesterday.

As is my wont, I got a new Easter tie this year. The picture doesn’t show the colors properly. It’s navy and lime green. I really like it.

I think standing by the window gave me too much light.

I started the day with sunrise service at my church’s cemetery. I love this service! There is a little chapel in the cemetery. The view out the window behind the pulpit was pretty:

You can't see it in the picture, but the tree is budding.

After a small break at home, I went to my church for the big worship service. I loved sitting in the balcony for choir, because I was up close with the organ and trumpets.

They were so loud, I could sing at the top of my lungs.

When we did the Passing of the Peace, I laughed out loud. Everyone was greeting everyone so loudly and so long, it took a while to get order back. I loved it!

Happy Easter!

I was a little late to work because church went long. One of my co-workers brought cupcakes! They were so fruity. She dropped a Skittle into the middle of each cupcake before baking. I couldn’t tell if the fruity flavor was already in the batter, or if the Skittle put it there.

Delicious!

He is risen! He is risen indeed!! [And yesterday being the third Sunday, who delivered this stirring message to the good folks in Rossville if not you?]

It was indeed a festal day by us as well, ending with a wonderful meal (seafood and lamb for me and Thurman respectively) from the Silver Moon Diner and lots of doing whatever little we wanted to in the rest of the day. Love days like that; too few and far between.

Q.: is a veterinary hospital more or less busy on Easter than on other Sundays? Were there, say, many plastic grass ingestions to deal with? [Say – I understand your place is caring for Heidi the search dog whose liver is riddled with…well, holding a good thought for her and the crew at FRAH.]

I’m glad you had an Eastery Easter!

I’ve been to a few sunrise services & I’ve like them; but I really like the other services with the trumpets, trombones & timpani drums.

And the papers holding those cupcakes are in the shape of a flower! I love that!

What a joyful day! Your tie could only be improved by Skittles. 🙂 I am happy it was so wonderful.

Is that little chapel just lit by candles? That is so cool. Someday we have to come visit you again so we can see all these Bradaptation landmarks.
