My parents are on a Mediterranean cruise right now. I think they told me their itinerary, but I don’t remember it. Consequently, I get delightfully random texts from my mom:

She bought some international connectivity for her cell phone this month, so she sends updates on where they’re visiting. I’m enjoying the texts she sends. I hope they’re taking a lot of pictures.

Having just left Facebook where there are a round of “10 funniest texts received from parents” going around, I wondered how the paternal unit would do – apparently, she does just fine. Yea, Mom Royuk! Yea, Mediterranean cruises! Safe journey until you return to terra firma. [I hear you were at the Vatican recently – on or about “How to Make Two Saints in Short Order” Day – any audiences with anyone special? Did you get a Vatican guard to smile?]
Your parents have so much fun. Good for them! The world needs doers. (I’d like to think that it also needs sitters, since I’m firmly in that camp.)
