Outlet Quest and Tobacco Question

I was off yesterday. I wanted to do something other than sit on the couch, so I decided to go to the outlet stores in Lancaster. I’m not sure how it happened, but I seem to be down to one white teacher shirt. I was hoping to find a good deal and get several yesterday.

It was a beautiful day. Cool and breezy.

I saw some shirts, but they weren’t cheap. I decided to wait. I’ll check at Marshall’s. They’re harder to find in my size because they have a smaller selection, but I have had some success there in the past.

On the way out of one of the parking lots, I saw a house that was completely surrounded by tobacco plants. I’m not sure, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tobacco plant up close. What I’m most curious about is their flowers. In the garden center, you can buy an annual called “flowering tobacco”, which has very sweetly scented flowers. Do the flowers on regular tobacco plants smell as sweet? I didn’t find out yesterday, but maybe some day…

It wasn't really a field. It was more like a garden.

Huh. I guess I’ve never seen tobacco plants, either. Lloyd’s family grew tobacco long ago and they talk about it quite a bit, but I’ve never seen the actual leaves.

What size shirt do you wear?

I don’t remember seeing one flowering very often. I think we cut them down before they flowered. Something about they were better for causing cancer before they flowered.
