Printed

I needed to do a background check (including fingerprints) for my new job. There are several private companies that will take your fingerprints and submit them to the government, along with the proper documentation. I went to a place in Towson.

Instead of using ink for my fingerprints, my prints were scanned into a computer. They will be sending the digital files in to the government. If my fingerprints weren’t part of some giant digital database before this, they sure are now.

I couldn't get a picture of the fingerprint machine, so I just sneaked a picture of the office.

Wow – digital! I am surprised they didn’t do a retina scan if they are going so high-tech.

I vaguely remember having to get fingerprinted in Maryland. If I recall, the place was only open… Saturday? Whatever it was, we were waiting with a whole bunch of people before they opened.

Used the same place. Nice people and it went quickly.
