Meeting and Peeking

There was a PTL meeting at school last night. I loved seeing all the parents speak so passionately about supporting the school. It was also good to get informed about upcoming fundraisers and events.

After the main meeting, everybody split up into grade-groups. I went with the sixth grade parents because I’ll be going on a field trip with the sixth graders in May. We’re doing an outdoor education experience. I’m really looking forward to it.

At the end of the evening, as I was walking past some lockers, I had a chuckle as I saw a leprechaun peeking out of one. I hope he doesn’t escape. I think he’s worth some points.

Dang it – when the tech guy gets up, I’ll ask him to look into the picture thing.

What with all the sewage stuff going on at work, I didn’t do any prep stuff for St. Patrick’s day and it wasn’t foremost on my mind. As I drove to work I realized I was only wearing black and red. D’oh!! I’m the Leprechaun, for cryin’ out loud!

LOVE that skinny locker leprechaun! (Wonder if our guys had any hidden ones this year?) Was he caught? (Was he magically delicious?!)

I miss passionate parent talks…I miss our PTL (it’s rather non-existent these days). Glad you are doing your ministry somewhere you can still appreciate all that.

      “Was he magically delicious?”
      Haha! I laughed out loud!
