Are We There Yet?

Last night was the spring musical at my school. It was called “Are We There Yet?” It’s the story of Moses and the Exodus. It was written by the same guy that did the David and Goliath musical we did in Maui, so I was having a lot of flashbacks, which was delightful. Flashbacks are fun!

It went really well. I’m proud of the kids. I turned mics on and off, so I stood to the side. It gave me a great view.

After the musical, there was a reception. If I had taken pictures, I could have done a whole post on the taste comparisons of different white grape juice brands. The differences in taste were striking.

It was packed! This was after about half of the people left:

Mmm... So many cookies...

What a great night! Today the kids don’t come into school, but we teachers do. We’ll clean up the church and catch our breaths.

HA! Love the title. I can picture the kids in the back of the caravans whining, “Dad…aren’t we there yet?” Nice pyramid scenery, too. Glad this was a success – and congrats on Catch Your Breath Day – we celebrate Upper School Picnic/26-minute classes/faculty-senior Basketball Game Day today. Everybody party!!

What a great night! I’d be interested in hearing some of the songs from these musicals. I bet they’re crazy catchy.

Thank goodness you had white grape juice. Every so often the grocery store sends my school the purple kind, which results in scores of children who look like they have some sort of mouth disease.

Awesome!!! Do have videos/DVDs of any of you performances? I’d love to watch them if you would want to send/share….Blessings On Your Day!!! <3 From Nebraska…Aunt Bev 🙂

Our dress rehearsal was recorded, but I don’t know what they’ll do with the recording. I’ll find out.
