Fixed Sparkly

A few days ago, I got a phone call from my local Swarovski store. The Christmas ornament I took to be fixed had returned from the factory and was repaired. Yay! I went and got it yesterday. It did take a little longer than I expected, but it was free and it is beautiful and new. Thanks, Swarovski! I love it! You’re the best!

It's a blurry picture, but I was too lazy to take another shot.

Beth sent me an ornament of hers. I took it with me. The lady said the broken piece could be reattached, but the piece with glue on it may not be able to be cleaned. Here’s hoping they can clean it!

..and just in time to dangle from your rear-view mirror and potentially blind an oncoming vehicle in direct sun some day…like I do. he he

Beautiful. Gotta love the Swarovski folks – they make good stuff the first time, and fix if for free, too. Who does that any more? Good old European work ethic there…

In the original post you said that they said “it wouldn’t take long at all.” By my calculations it was 3 months. Time is relative I guess.

Hehe… I noticed that too. I wonder how long it would have taken if she said it would take a long time.

“Free’ regarding money. You paid them with time. Still, it’s nice that they guarantee their stuff like that. Can you see where they fixed it or is it just a new one?

I can’t see the fix, but I’m pretty sure it’s not a new one. It’s old. The woman at the store made that comment when she gave it back to me. It came back in a box and the little outline thing that it was resting in wasn’t the right shape.
