Last night was the Holiday Brass concert. Our church choir was once again participating. Just like last year, it was a great concert. Lots of brass, steel drums, and singing. Plus, there were bagpipes again! The musicians are so good and the music is so beautiful. It really makes it feel like Christmas.
It’s hard to get a picture of the sanctuary, because it’s really big. I was sitting the balcony for the first half of the concert, so at intermission I tried to take a picture of the crowd:
After intermission, the choir was in front. Here is a picture of the chancel while I was up there. Can you see me?
I do see you! Yay! Who took that picture?
That seems like a great kickoff to Christmas, and at just the right time: the start of Advent. I bet the holiday cheer is flowing in your veins right now – or perhaps some coffee because you were up pretty late? 🙂
Definitely coffee. I had a terrible time getting up this morning. I’m glad for the boost in Christmas spirit though.
Denis took the picture.
Music Is One Of The Most AWESOME Ways To Start The Advent Season!! 🙂
