I took a Bourne break yesterday. Instead of working on my porch, I had a nice diner breakfast, then went to see the latest Jason Bourne movie. I liked it.
After the movie, I went shopping for some more post covers and some concrete. My next step is setting some railing posts in concrete. When I got home, I thought I’d just rest a bit and then get to it. I ended up resting for the whole rest of the day.
I did get a few things done inside the house, but it’s hard to get any cleanup done because the entryway of my house has become the staging area for my porch work. Tools and building materials are scattered all over the place.
My railings are supposed to be delivered tomorrow, so hopefully that will light a fire under me. I intend to make the porch work my full-time job this week (after I have a little more fun today).
On Apple computers, this will look sideways and squished. I don’t know how to stop that from happening. Look at it on a PC, and it will be normal.
Your staging area makes me smile. I think I’m going to start calling my house a staging area.
With small children in the house, my entire home is a staging area. And, believe, me, we have some real drama around here at times.
Wow! You are getting so much done this summer. I’m a little jealous. We’ve been back in school for a week already! (School started Aug. 1st.) When do you have to go back?
I go back to my room on the 15th. Classes don’t start until the 29th.
