It was still so hot yesterday, I didn’t work on the porch. I’m a little worried about getting to an appropriate stopping point before classes start, but not worried enough to work in 100 degree heat. Instead, I went to see “Suicide Squad” and to people-watch at the mall. It was delightfully air-conditioned.
Unlike me, Gus is really enjoying this warm weather. The back bedroom has been open for the last few weeks, and he has been loving it. The room gets really warm during the day, and he gets up on the bed and luxuriates in it.
Ahhh… so comfortable…
Whenever I see him, of course I have to rub his head a little. He likes it.
Already squinting in anticipatory pleasure.
Speaking of his head, aren’t his brains melting yet?! Oy – how DOES he ENJOY this miserable heat and humidity???
Glad common sense is reigning at your house – and remember: on Tuesdays at the AMC Loews at White Marsh Stub Club members pay greatly reduced ticket prices. That’s how I got to “Secret Life of Pets”,”Star Trek Beyond” and a handful of others this summer. When you get there early enough you can pretty much have the place to yourself (can that concept fo the next ten months, I know). A/C rules!
Is that the Murphy bed room? Is that the Murphy bed or something else? I am disoriented.

It is the murphy bed room, but it’s not the murphy bed. Denis got an antique bed from a friend and put is regular bed in the murphy bed room. It’s a much better mattress than the one that’s currently on the murphy bed, so it’s staying there for now.
