Yesterday was our last day of school before Christmas break. At the end of the half day, the middle school got together for a Christmas celebration that included food and drink.
We sent a little message home to parents, and suggested various things: drinks, sweet and salty treats, and more substantial foods like sandwiches or chicken wings.
The parents really went all out. It was full-blown lunch. The kids had more food than they could eat.
I had a few things to eat, but was most excited to see cheese puffs. I love them! And then when I went to the drink table, there was grape soda. Grape soda! It was a magical combination. I was telling Susan that I couldn’t think of a more happy or magical combination.
Ha! “Like cheese and wine but better” – I laughed out loud! I would make fun, but you were the one who told me about Fillet O’Fish and Hi-C Orange at McDonald’s, that that is also truly magical.
I hope you are so stuffed from that buffet that you get to sleep some of it off today! 🙂
Hooray for Christmas break!
Cheese puffs and grape soda do it for you, eh?
You’re easy, big guy. Wine and cheese are generally more expensive, last I checked.
