Walking in Darkness

I’m always the first one at work in the morning. I walk through a good portion of the building to get to my classroom. On the way, I don’t turn on any lights. It used to be a little creepy to me, but now it’s not. I know the building so well, I figure that if there were ever a bad guy there, I’d know the layout way better and I’d have an advantage in the dark.

Now it’s creepy on mornings I arrive and there are lights on because someone left them on from the previous night.

It’s getting lighter outside in the mornings.
