Forced Slow Progress

There is some evidence of termites in my and Josh’s rooms. Before school starts, David decided to fumigate. It makes sense. This way, it’s all taken care of before kids move their stuff in and whatnot.

I kept hearing circus music in my head every time I saw the stripey tent.

It is keeping me out of my room, which would normally freak me out, but since I was sick last week, I’m still kind of tired during the day. After teacher meetings in the morning, and lunch together at the mall food court, I just worked on my computer a little. It was actually a pretty laid back day. Nice.

Holy cow! I didn’t know that’s what was involved! That is pretty remarkable. Will you be able to get back in your room today?

By the way, your fence matches my fence. We’re fence twins!

Tenting…fumigating…now there’s something I can’t recall ever having to deal with at any school where I worked, particularly not so near the start of school. I’m sure he’s using only organic material, too, so there’ll be no residue to be concerned about once people can reenter the rooms…well, anyway, enjoy the circus motif while it lasts and the rest it has imposed on you. Once the real circus begins, “rest” may be hard to come by.
