Great Finds

Yesterday, I walked the Seward town square with Beth, and we went to some stores.

Among our stops was Et Cetera. It is the thrift store in town, but it has really got great stuff, and it’s constantly rotating. It seems like more of a yard sale than a store.

I was excited to find an Aloha shirt. That’s what I wear on Sunday mornings. The shirt I found was soft and worn-looking, both of which are great qualities in an Aloha shirt.

I like that it's green. I didn't have a green Aloha shirt.

The other exciting find was made by Beth. She found a purse made of that linked metal material. I always call it chain-mail. My mom had one of these, and I’ve often thought I’d like to have one just so I can touch it. I even found one a while back, but decided not to get it. I have regretted that decision, and have been looking for one I could get. Yesterday I got my wish. And it was only one dollar.

I'm going to try to actually use this for something.

I didn’t buy a CUTE Humpty Dumpty yard art character one time and have regretted that ever since….good for you to get your chain mail! Cool design on it too! You could put your phone chargers and stuff like that in it when you travel!
