D’oh! I forgot to write a post! The time difference really doesn’t give me much leeway in regard to posting in time for my mainland readers to see something in the morning. It’s already 1:13pm in Nebraska as I type this. Sheesh!
I’m in my classroom enjoying one of my few prep times during the week. The kids are at PE. I’m so HOT. I’ve been hot in my classroom all year. I keep turning down the thermostat, but I still often feel hot. Meanwhile, the kids are cold. They have much more tolerance for warmer temperatures, since they’ve been here longer than me. I told them at the beginning of the year that it would be cold in my room and that maybe they should have sweatshirts ready to put on.
What’s the outside temperature over there at this time of year?
Maybe one of those cooling cloths would be helpful.

It’s only mid-eighties. Sometimes it gets a little warmer. I’m told the really hot weather is yet to come in September and October.
Sweatshirts at 76 degrees? Are those children made of fire?
I feel your pain. Can you just wear that air conditioner and blow it into a spacesuit?
76 degrees doesn’t feel very cool to me. I think you should bump it down a couple more notches.
OR you could try an experiment. See how low you have to set it before the kids actually start bringing sweatshirts.
