I told my trainer I was feeling low-energy. She asked me what I was eating. When I finished describing my diet, she said: “You need to eat some protein.” As it turns out, I eat almost no protein. She gave me several recommendations, which I will be trying over the next couple weeks.
Yesterday I tried one suggestion: a microwave container for eggs. You just crack the egg in it, stir it up (or not), and cook it for a minute. Voila! Quick protein!
It was pretty good. I mean, it just tasted like a scrambled egg, but I like those, so it was pretty good. Maybe I’ll add some ham or cheese in the future.
