It’s legal for people to ride in the bed of a pickup truck. Samith and Stephannie’s kids have been excited about that, and several times have taken rides in the back of my truck. It’s been fun, because then I get to bond with them a little. I’ve known these kids since a long time. I’ve even been to Brighton’s birthday parties.
Anyway, the back-of-the-truck rides have all gone well. Except I think Brighton and Ethan got sunburned on one of the rides.
Awww…. Let’s hear it for Hawaii being reasonable about riding in the back of a truck. Of course, it helps that 45 miles per hour is the top speed limit, right?
