I did my usual grading yesterday. It went pretty well. If I would just do a little more each day, it would be so much better…
Anyway, one of the things I graded was a math test. They are supposed to staple their work pages to the test. Everyone does the conventional upper-left-corner staple pretty well. Some are neater than others.
But one kid always staples to the right. It’s curious. I want to ask him about it some time, but I’m not sure he would know why he staples the right instead of the left. And I think I’d like to leave this fascinating curiosity as it is.
Huh. My guess is that either no one has told him how to do it or he is left-handed. Scratch that. A lefty would have the staple angled the other way. He just doesn’t know.
Way to go, grader!
I couldn’t even grade any kind of math? Yay for you! I’m just now getting good at adding up totals at the grocery store while shopping… i’m over 50. I think Righty Stapleton is a rebel!
Someone is very inexperienced when it comes to the use of a stapler.
Truth be told, I much prefer flipping right-stapled first pages behind seconds, but apparently few others do, and I even consistently staple on the top left myself, so…did our early school years teachers show us this? I can’t recall right now how I learned to staple…hmmm…
