Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Communion and the Garden

I went to a brief communion service with my mom yesterday. It was the first time I’ve had the Lord’s Supper since March 8. Almost four months! That’s the longest I’ve ever gone without it.

We met in the narthex of the church. There were about a dozen of us. It was short, but it was great.

After that, my mom and I went to Lincoln and shopped a little. That was fun too. I didn’t find the curtains I was looking for, but I did get some new shirts. I also got a few bags of mulch to finish off my garden project at Lloyd and Lauren’s. I’ll include pictures of the garden for my memory archive.

I am especially going to post a picture of the iris I planted. It’s the variety that smells like grape Kool-Aid.

It’s so beautiful! We don’t deserve you, Master Gardener. I can’t wait to see it in the cool of the morning. Thank you so much!

I’m so glad you had a good day with your Mom, too!

I know what you mean about the first time having communion since all the lock downs began back in March. What we take for granted…glad to be back again.

As always, your gardening skills amaze. Keep up the good work!
