First of all, I have to say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TARA! YAAAAY!
I went to Destyny Sphynx again yesterday. I wanted to meet my new kitten’s momma, since she was still away from home last time I visited. The owners of the cattery have visiting hours every Sunday. They are very friendly and let me go into the bedroom where Chelsea was hanging out.
Chelsea is beautiful. She has great markings. She is also really friendly and purrs like a fiend. I almost wanted to lie down and take a nap with her, but that probably would have been a little weird. Carole (one of the owners) said that I should wait a couple of weeks after the kittens are born before I visit again. Sphynx kittens are slow to develop and they wouldn’t look like anything until a few weeks pass.
But I did make sure to visit the litter of kittens that are going to their homes next week. They’re almost intolerably cute. They were falling all over each other to sniff at my fingers and play and nip.
Here is my best shot of Chelsea. She would hardly hold still because she LOVES to be petted and scratched.
I didn’t get any really good ones of her belly, but this one is probably my best.
And she is definitely cuddly. She kept trying to climb up into my arms, but would always decide against it because she was big and heavy.
“Wait a few weeks because the kittens wouldn’t look like anything.” That’s a kind way to put it.
Is their house keep really, really warm?

I forgot-when is her due date? Did you feel the babies moving? It is nice that the birth mother likes you and approves of you stealing, I mean, taking care of one of her precious babies.
Are you going to feed her/him the raw diet?
She is very beautiful. I can’t wait to meet Bruce!
