Happy Birthday to my nephew Tim! Yay!
Being at Lloyd and Lauren’s house has taken some adjustment this year: They’ve changed some things since last summer. My bedroom is rearranged. The bed is in a position that would allow a murderer to sneak up on me: I have no view of the hallway. And the curtains are fuzzy blankets that block out the sunlight. My first morning I had left them closed, and I slept late because it stayed dark. Now I know to leave them open all night.
The new shower curtain, on the other hand, IS conducive to murderer detection. It’s see-through! It’s like showering in a big open room.
And while I have seen no evidence of bat bugs, I did see a big jumping spider while standing at the kitchen sink yesterday. I thought it might be Elmo, but Lauren’s post says Lloyd took Elmo outside. Could he have come back in? Is this a different spider altogether?
Silly Brad….there are no murderers in Nebraska!
But if you’re still worried one might sneak up on you……you could start sleeping in the shower.
