Whenever I unloaded my washing machine, I could hear something metal sliding around at the bottom. I finally got it out:
It’s some sort of metal talisman. Is it a laundry totem? By removing it, have I doomed my laundry to only evil outcomes?

I think it’s a tiny laundry detergent scoop. Does your container say “Super-Duper Concentrated”? If not, then it’s probably a prize – like with Cracker Jack.
Talisman? That’s a new word for me….. at least you know that much about it! So not a zipper pull of yours?? Maybe the imfamous, miniature, sock sucker?
