In the morning yesterday, we went snorkeling. It was really fun. I haven’t done it in a long time. I didn’t get any pictures because I left my phone locked in the car.
After snorkeling, we went to the lava fields for a hike. We stopped at all the places. I took a selfie at one of them.
We had to make our hike a quick one, because I went to eighth grade graduation in the afternoon. The service was nice. Graduation here involves lots of lei. By the time all their relatives and friends give them one, the kids are weighed down by them.
In the evening, the eighth graders and their families and some of us teachers went to dinner. It was really nice. I ate a lot and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
I slept really well last night.

Everything about this posting made me happy: seeing your smile…thinking about 8th graders weighed down by floral necklaces…recalling past after-special-school-event teacher socials. This really was a banner day. Praising God with you for it.
