I’m still figuring out what to do about my truck, but in the meantime, Josh has offered to let me use his extra car.
After school yesterday, I went home with him so I could get the other car. Since I was there, he asked if I wanted to sit in the back yard and have a drink. Of course I did!
A school parent had just given him a bottle of Crown Royal, and he knew I liked it, so he offered some to me. But it wasn’t any old bottle of Crown Royal, it was a bottle from 1976. Wow!
I have to admit, I couldn’t tell if it tasted any different from the bottle of modern-day Crown I have on my refrigerator, but it was a delightful back yard happy hour. And I’m so glad to have a car again. Thanks, Josh!
