A week ago while I was browsing the internet, an ad popped up for a site that sells prints of Christian art. I was fascinated by a picture I saw:
I love the perspective of Jesus reaching into the water. I didn’t notice his feet at first, but he’s standing on the water. It’s so cool. It’s inspired by the Bible story of Peter and Jesus walking on water. There’s an explanation HERE on the art site.
I ordered it immediately. It came on Friday. Yesterday I got a frame. I haven’t decided where to hang it yet.
Well, it’s symbolic as all get out. If it weren’t water-involved, I’d love to look at that each day. (…but the terror….) No matter what is overwhelming us, Jesus is there to save us, hold onto us and remind us to have faith. Excellent painting – and I’m glad you supported the artist!
