I got away from school a little earlier yesterday. After a quick stop at Home Depot, I was on my way home.
And then I hit traffic:
From Home Depot to my door is usually only ten minutes. It ended up taking me over an hour. Yikes! I used to drive in traffic like this (and worse) all the time, but now that I don’t do it much, it seemed hard. But I did have a beautiful sunset to look at while I drove, and I was sitting down, so that was nice.

So what was the hold up? Is it flood-related? Maybe you need to have Advent services every night so you can miss the rush.
It was an accident of some kind. I don’t know the details though. Usually the only thing that causes bad traffic like that is an injury 🙁

I do not miss the Beltway traffic where I go now three days/week – – straight up Rte 7 or I-95 while everyone else is going the opposite direction. It’s heavenly.
