There was a big storm forecasted for yesterday morning just as I was leaving. Thankfully, the snow was late. Still, it was cold. The airline sprayed the plane with anti-icing liquid.
The trip from Lincoln to Denver was not as bad as I expected. In fact, I slept much if the time. When I landed in Denver, I saw that snow had already been there.
My flight was late, so I thought I’d miss my connection. But my connecting flight was waiting for the catering truck to arrive, so it was delayed too. In fact, it was so delayed, I had a chance to get some chocolate milk. Yum!
After we got on the plane, we sat for a LONG time. I think because the runway was icy. It was a long wait though. Whew!
I was so glad to get to LA. I had just an overnight here, but it will give me energy to make the long flight across the ocean. It’s warmer here than Nebraska, but still cooler than Maui.
I am so thankful that it went as well as it did – for the delayed storm, the NOT-missed connections, chocolate milk and Denis. 🙂 I pray today’s travels are much less stressful.
