Back to Maui

My stop in LA was an interesting one. My suitcase hadn’t made it on the plane with me. Since I was staying only one night, the lady said it would probably be better to just pick it up the next morning before getting on my flight to Maui. She gave me a toiletries kit to tide me over:

I already had an aisle seat, but when I checked in, the computer let me choose a new seat for no charge – and exit seat! Woo hoo!

We got to the plane late because something, something catering. It meant we left an hour late. But we made up some time in the air and landed only 30 minutes late. And then we sat on the runway for over an hour because there was no gate for us to go to. Ugh.

I was so happy to be off that plane. When I got home, I had to go get milk, because I can’t survive without it. On my way, I saw a wonderful sunset 🙂

And then another nice thing happened:

I could probably get more money from them if I was aggressive about it, but this is fine. Fifty bucks is fifty bucks!

Now back to school today! Woo! I hope the kids are as tired as I am…

Did you get your suitcase when you went back to the airport?? Do you have your stuff with you now? Inquiring minds want to know!

I did get my suitcase with no hassle at all. I went to the baggage claim desk, and she took me to the back, and it was there on a shelf. I like this suitcase because it’s a light blue, and easy to identify.

I got it a year and a half ago:
