Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Last Day of School

Yesterday was the last day of school. It was a good one. I had a series of contests during the day to award students selections from my dried out cupcake collection from the bookshelf behind my desk. We hung out. We had fun.

The last event of the day was a rematch of the eight grade vs. teachers volleyball game. I actually did ok when it was my turn to play. I guess the adrenaline was working for me instead of against me yesterday. The teachers won! Woo hoo!

I held it together until the very end of the day. I tried to make a goodbye speech, but ended up crying instead. The kids responded kindly. They’re good eggs. I’ll miss them.

They know about Bradaptation and have been here a lot. Some of them have even tried commenting, though I haven’t let the comments post. If you’re reading this, seventh grade, you guys are awesome! Have a great summer, and be good next year!

Oh, how wonderful. I think your time in Maui has been an absolute blessing, and I know the children and staff will miss you very much.

I do have to ask about the dried-out cupcakes, though……..

Awww, you’ve been blessed at this school, and the school-folk have been blessed to have you. God be praised for His blessings in this place!
