It is wonderful and awful to have a fresh start in a house. I love shopping for house stuff – but I end up spending money.
But I saw something I just couldn’t pass up – it’s an umbrella for the pool area. It was so cheap! It was on clearance because of the time of year. It’s one of those kinds that reaches over from the side. The base had to be filled with sand, which took forever. There’s a little solar panel on the top that charges a battery that does this:
It has lights! They’re brighter than I expected. Perfect for sitting by the pool in the evening. Except I don’t have any table or chairs yet. More to buy! Woo hoo! And dang.

I laugh at your conundrum because I totally get it. I’m trying to downsize and be more minimal, but stuff is so interesting! That is a cool umbrella 😀
