Thursday Travel

My trip to Nebraska went fairly well yesterday. The landing in Denver was rough – perhaps one of the roughest turbulences I’ve experienced. But the looking-out-the-window method really worked for me. And I had an anxiety pill.

The Denver airport was nice. I went looking for pizza, but got a donut instead. Mmm… milk…

I sat by some walkways for a while and just watched people. It was fun. A group of them were participating in some sort of contest. I would see them go to the right on a conveyor, then quickly turn around and go left. In the picture below, the white-shirted boy to the right of center was one of the contestants:

I even had time to get my shoes shined. Boy, I sure like how these guys do it. Very thorough… very clean. This shine should last a good long time.

Your shoes make you look so dressed up!

It’s so good that you are finally here. 🙂 You’re a good egg for tolerating the turbulence , delays and gate-shuffling. You even found the bright spots in the troubles!
