Buying a Booster

I’ve started exercising again! Yay! Wait… did I already post about that? Yes, yes I did. But the point of this post isn’t that I’m exercising – it’s that when I’ve done my training over zoom, my wireless internet signal has been weak because I’m in the garage.

So I got a booster. It was exceedingly easy to set up. And it just plugs into any available outlet. I had one in the perfect spot: right inside the garage. I’ll have TONS of internet signal now!

That incredible flooring is in your garage? Dang, your house is fancy!

That little booster is adorable. I would mistake it for a rechagable flashlight. 🙂

    Congrats on the exercising!

My description of the location should have been “right inside the door from the garage”. That flooring is in the entry from my back door – kind of a “mudroom” area I guess. It’s mostly wasted space. If I ever re-do the kitchen, which I probably won’t, I would take out a wall and reclaim that area as kitchen space.

Ah, that makes sense. I knew about your mudroom, but wondered if it extended into your garage.

Which booster did you buy? We have a couple, but I don’t feel like they’re working. Could be the stone 1930s house, though…

Jill, I got a tp-link AC1750 mesh wi-fi extender. I was impatient, so I didn’t shop on Amazon – I just went to Target. It was on sale 🙂

Thanks for the info! It seems your impatience paid off if you have something that actually works. Maybe Amazon ISN’T the answer to everything…

        Nah. 🙂
