During the winter at school I’ve been wearing a jacket that looks like a suit coat. Now that the weather is warming, the coat is too much, so I’ve taken it off. And now it has become apparent… how can I put this delicately… that I’ve gained some weight over the winter.
I carry all my weight right in front. I did an internet search to see how to minimize your belly when you’re wearing a tucked-in shirt. The advice? Wear a coat. Heh.
I went online and found a lighter sport coat. It’s linen. The mornings are still cool, so I can wear it at least for part of the day.
That’s a very nice coat. I wonder about shopping online due to fit, but I guess guys just have to plug in the numbers and you’re good to go. Lucky ducks.
Did your students notice the coat change?
Brad, Brad, Brad – – – neither of us is getting younger, and the extra weight will happen at least in part because of that. As one who has never looked good in tucked in blouses (ahem), I concur that wearing something open in the front and longer in the back will help give the illusion of the svelte Brad we know still lives inside.
