I had the day off of school yesterday. I seem to have such little time at home – this was the perfect opportunity to do a Project. Would I paint my bedroom? Or maybe re-paint the living room? I could organize my closet – I started that a long time ago, and never quite finished. Maybe I could unpack a few more boxes in the garage.
I didn’t do any of that. Ugh. I used to be better at this stuff. It’s frustrating.
But I did get some good rest yesterday. I so often underestimate the value of rest. And I did do one thing… I mowed the lawn. Not only did this make my yard look better, it was some physical activity. Good job, Brad!
I was SHOCKED to read ‘mowed the lawn’. It’s January, for Pete’s sake! I keep forgetting that you live in Paradise.
Lloyd went to Missouri on Sunday for a Monday meeting, so I walked to work, bundled like an Arctic explorer. I believe the temperature was -6.
Paradise, I say.
counter point: i don’t want to mow grass all year round. yes, it is wonderful that the weather both necessitates this and allows it, but I dread mowing about the same day I start for the season.
