Faucet Fail

My kitchen sink faucet is inadequate. I would like to change it, but the underside is inaccessible because of the narrow space between the sink and the wall. I would have to remove the sink from the counter top, and that would cause a cascading series of events in the kitchen which I am not prepared to face right now.

The biggest problem with the faucet is the water flow. It’s way too low. I thought maybe some mineral buildup might be the problem, so I got one of those mineral-dissolving cleaners at the store so I could soak the aerator. I was not able to remove it, so I had to rig a setup with a sandwich bag.

It didn’t work. Dang. I guess I’ll have to keep dealing with a cruddy faucet for now.

Dang, indeed. They have those long extension wrenches, but just being able to see under a sink is a back-hurting process.

I’m impressed with your rig, though. Nicely taped. πŸ˜€

You did not ask for my opinion. I acknowledge that. πŸ™‚

    I vote you hire someone.
Some things aren’t worth the stress.

My thoughts exactly! I know how much you “enjoy” the DIY lifestyle, but every once in a while a “trained and licensed professional” is indeed required…kinda like traditional schools (vs. home schooling?) with “trained and licensed professional” teachers such as yourself πŸ™‚
