I went all the way to Nebraska looking for my Tom’s of Maine cinnamon toothpaste. I didn’t find it. I did, however, find a new and exotic flavor. In Nebraska, you ask? Yes. It’s orange mango gel. I’ve just finished the child orange mango toothpaste tube I got at the beginning of March. Hmmm.. that was two months ago. Why did my orange mango children’s toothpaste last longer than my strawberry children’s toothpaste? TWICE as long…
Anyway, the adult version of orange mango toothpaste has menthol in it. It is a much more interesting flavor than the children’s version. It’s still not as good as the cinnamon, but it will do until I find my dear cinnamon. Plus, the menthol makes this toothpaste taste like a Halls cough drop. Perfect for allergy season!
I don’t currently have a cough, but I’ll have to keep this toothpaste in mind for the next time I do.
That’s a lot of talent packed in one tube of toothpaste – anticavity, tartar control, whitening, flouride, AND nasal control! Can I take a whiff? I’m all clogged up!
It’s funny I heard a song on the radio this morning that I haven’t heard forever … you probably won’t know it …
“Cinnamon Girl” by Neil Young, now revamped to “Cinnamon Mouth”
I wanna live with a cinnamon mouth,
I could be happy the rest of my life with a cinnamon mouth …
(Annette, are you out there … I’m sure you know this song)
That’s all.
… except for the next Tom’s Natural post, how about we see the actual toothpaste on a brush … I’d like to see what natural toothpaste looks like …
I want to see a magnet stuck to the tube – it’s metal, isn’t it?
I want to see a quarter next to it, so I know how big it is.
Looky looky what I found!

Now you just need to decide how many tubes of cinnamon you “need” at one time, it seems…and just the right size for packing for your next trip to Nebraska…or Amsterdam…or Hawaii….or any of those other exotic places you go while the rest of us stay here with our noses pressed to glass until you send photos or come home. But I digress…
Happy toothpaste shopping, sir!
