Welcome to Brad's online memory archives.

Chevrons

Yesterday was our first “meeting day” at school. I don’t like meetings very much, so it wasn’t a fun day. But I saw all my co-workers, so it was a fun day. I dressed casually for the occasion, which means I wore my summer shoes. I have built up effective callouses to withstand the sharp, cutting, painful spots on the shoes. I also have apparently been getting a lot of sun on my feet. They’ve become tanned. Yesterday, in spite of the meetings, I somehow got even more sun on them. They felt almost hot, like I had burned them or something.

Here they are in all their bronze glory:

Shoes on...

...shoes off.

Wow! We’ll have to start calling you Tan Toes.

Maybe the burning came from some sort of poisonous gas unleashed into your school building by aliens. (I finally have watched Children of Earth.)

I don’t tan. I burn. And, if I’m lucky, freckle. But I, too, have chevrons.

I’ll have to post about them.

I’m impressed with your wearing the same shoes so much that you get chevrons.

Hehe…you funny! Congratulations on your chevrons! You’re like a god…they should build a statue of your feet! You know if you keep out in the sun, your feet might get all leathery looking & you wouldn’t have to buy new school shoes.

    (…all my co-workers…Waaahhhhh!!!)

We love and miss you, too, Pegster!

Hey, little Joe got a shout-out today for coming on board as guidance intern soon…he can be your “mole” and keep you up to date on all the happenings…such as they are…
