Yesterday I got up early for Boot Camp exercising, then came back to Lloyd and Lauren’s to nap. Later in the day I painted at Harold and Beth’s. I was tired all day yesterday. I have a small cough. Maybe I’m getting sick. Or maybe I have just been keeping a really weird sleep schedule.
The family pictures have come back. Here is one of the poses that was kind of unusual and caused some giggling with the grandkids:
In spite of the giggling, I think this is really a nice picture.
The one that caused the most laughing was the first pose we tried. The girls in front had to keep getting closer and closer to each other to make the picture-taker happy. They laughed a lot.
My mom didn’t like having her hands around my dad’s neck either.
That wasn’t the family pose we chose. We went with a different configuration.
I like it.
They are all splendid photos! I think the grandkids one is very charming, and you were right to go with the the second group shot, rather than the Wrestlemania pose.
I think you should rest today. I can hear that cough from where I type. There is somecough syrup in the secret medicine drawer in the bathroom.

I concur with the choice made – better balance (and we land-on-our-feet types know from balance, eh?).
…and no comment will be left here regarding who was omitted from this “family” photo (ahem).
It’s a bummer being sick in the summer. I hope you get better quickly.
I like the family portrait you chose, also. I can tell the girls were laughing hard in the first one.
What great photos, I like them all but yeah, your mom looked like she was holding your dad down. Ha it’s great that you guys get together for this regularly. What a good lookin group! Maybe there could be a pet group shot some year. Would be all cats huh? Ha
