I went to the Maui Comic Con yesterday. It was in a new location. Last time, it was at the college. This time it was at Maui Beach Hotel. I’d never been there, so it was fun to see a new place.
The convention itself was smaller than the last one I went to. In the past, there was a whole room of vendors, and a whole room of artists. This time, both were in the same place.
I went through pretty quickly. None of the art caught my eye, except for some wood block print carvings that looked cool. But they were making shirts with them, not posters. I don’t wear shirts with stuff on them any more. Except my Superman shirt when I go to Comic Con.
Hooray for a fun event! I’m glad you have the requisite attire for such a gathering. :).
That looks like some fun stuff for sale, but I hate making eye contact with the vendor and then not buying anything.
