Strange Sailor

So many of my ties have been with me for so long, I don’t remember how I got them. That’s the case for my Popeye tie. I think it was a gift from a student at my first school in Baltimore.

I wore it to school yesterday, thinking that no one would even know who Popeye is. When was the last time there was any pop-culture involvement with Popeye?

But there were two students who said something to me about it. How interesting that they would know such and old cartoon.
