Yesterday was a hiking day. We went up to a trail I’ve been calling Poli Poli, but it actually is called the Waiakoa Loop Trail. It’s a fun hike through the upcountry forest.
There were wild boars in the area. We heard one snort once. We also saw a big ol’ bone.
The latter part of the hike was evergreens. The air was cool and the birds were singing. So beautiful.
After a nap, we went back out to watch the sunset. It was beautiful and peaceful. A great end to the evening.
Wild…..boars? Your island is a combination of gorgeous and terrifying. Truly a magical place!
